Date Established: July 1978

NY Church was established in July 1978 to become a place of worship for members that reside in the North Eastern part of the United States. A minister was appointed from Japan to take care of the church and its members. Membership grew and expanded not just within NY City, but also reached out to neighboring cities such as Cleveland, Philadelphia, and Boston. Today, the NY Church membership spreads across 19 different states. The church was first opened in a rented apartment unit, and in 1982, the current building was purchased. It has since been sharing the teachings of PL from this location.

Church Activities: “PL Thanksgiving Service” held on the 21st of every month, Sunday Services, other church services and ceremonies (please see link for detailed schedule and information), Mother’s Day and Father’s Day BBQ’s, beautification activities in the communities surrounding the church, garage sales, among other activities. Members also take part in various local community events.
